In this course students will learn the accent in recitation - Al Nabr- through knowing the articulation points of each letter of the Arabic language and how to pronounce each one with all its characteristics while reciting the Qur’an. Students will get to know the difference between convergent letters' articulation points.

What is the articulation point of a letter?

The place on the vocal system where we can generate any letter of the Arabic alphabet. And we name that Makhraj in Arabic.

The articulation points can be divided into 5 main points. And the alphabet letters can be formed in groups according to their points.

How can we Differentiate between the letters which are generated from the same point?

This we can by knowing the characteristics of each letter. In this course students will know the different characteristics of each letter and how to perform them, the opposites between characteristics, those without opposites, those who are alike, similar, close or far.

Is there any relevance between Nahw & Tajweed ?

Of course yes. In this course students will know about the verb tenses, the nouns, the participles & the prepositions in Arabic.

Also will be introduced to an important letter in Arabic we named it Hamzatu Alwasli : the connecting hamzah.

These topics that are studied in the course will be followed by practical exercises, examples from the Quran, activities and assignments for the student in order to facilitate his understanding and performance in the recitation.
